I don't really think you understand how matched betting works - it really is risk-free free money.
Been a few years since i've done it so maybe they've tightened up a bit but from a brief glance at oddschecker it looks like there's the best part of a grand in offers.
I made decent money out of the online bookies & casino offers a few years back. Not as much as Dan M & Brucie but enough to know it's not bollocks.

No doubting you can make money by matched betting but a couple of things...
You can do it yourself and do not need to pay some website £22 a month for the pleasure.

MH - The majority of the sites you sign up to pay you back in free bets and not cash. Completely pointless.
BUT, the person who runs the site cashes in whenever a new customer registers with for example coral.

You're making money off the back of something which doesn't actually make you money.
I could sit here and set up a website and some fool proof betting system, and sell it to idiots who have gambling problems and make a ton of money off them,.
You forget, each time someone registers with this guy, he has links to betting websites and gets commission off those people registering to the betting sites.
I've done it, and it's all bollocks.
End of story.

remember reading about it on the hendonmob forum - lots of people trusted him with thousands and never got any proof of what was going on. iirc he did about 150k.
plenty of worse scams than that over the years in the poker world though. players like lindgren and chinky guy (can't remember his name, made the WSOP final table one year) winning tournaments for millions and not having enough to pay off their debts. scary stuff.
